support the construction of the Inner Purple Line.
The Inner Purple Line is an essential
transportation project for my family and my
community. We
need you to elevate the Inner Purple Line to the
top of the federal
transportation priority
list.
The
Inner Purple Line is important to my family
because the project will reduce commute times
between work and home. The project will reduce air
pollution that degrades our health. The project
will help connect our neighborhood to sports,
education, theaters, museums and restaurants. The
accompanying trail will enable us to walk, run,
ride and roller skate on safe trails away from
traffic.
The
Inner Purple Line is important to my community
because it will connect workers and job
opportunities. The light rail supports local
efforts to foster technology-based economic
development through linking the
University
of
Maryland
to
the economic engines of
Bethesda
and
Silver Spring
.
The project will reduce dependence on the Beltway
and offer a faster alternative to the congestion
that clogs the roads. The Inner Purple Line
project will create wealth by increasing
commercial and residential real estate values.
The Inner Purple Line will increase
pedestrian traffic in community centers
encouraging an expansion of businesses to services
the needs of the community.
The
Inner Purple Line project helps families, helps
workers who can not afford cars, helps businesses
and connects communities.
The project has been studied and refined
for 15 years.
We need your leadership and support to
promote the Inner Purple Line.
Please support the Inner Purple Line and
request that the project receive the highest
priority in the federal transportation budget.
